Communicator Wanted at Region Värmland

Your Workplace

The communications department at Region Värmland provides strategic, tactical, and operational support in communication matters. We work with managers and employees to achieve the organization's goals, where communication is often a crucial tool for creating understanding, engagement, and direction.

You will be part of a team with specialist competencies in areas such as web, press, and design. Together, we plan, produce, and develop communication both internally and externally.

Your Tasks

In this role, you will focus on communication issues primarily within regional development, where we work strategically on areas that are significant for Värmland's development and future.

You will play a vital role in making complex information accessible, relevant, and engaging. You need to be able to switch between planning, coaching, and production. You thrive in a solution-oriented environment.

Examples of Tasks:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on communication initiatives.
• Train, coach, and equip others to develop their communication.
• Support managers and employees in communication matters.
• Work operationally with communication in both internal and external contexts.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in media and communication studies or other relevant education/experience.
• Experience in both strategic and operational communication work.
• A habit of closely collaborating with management and employees.
• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Experience in communication within the public sector is an advantage.
